We're looking for a dependable and dedicated
Class C Driver to join our San Francisco team. In this role, you'll be essential in ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries to our valued customers-helping us maintain the trust and satisfaction we're known for.
What You'll Do: - Operate a bobtail flatbed truck with lift gate safely and efficiently.
- Deliver materials along established routes throughout San Francisco.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to prepare, load, and secure orders.
- Provide professional, friendly service at each delivery stop.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and timeliness.

- Oversee safe loading and ensure accurate orders and high-quality products.
- Supervise unloading operations for accurate and safe delivery of materials.
Timely Deliveries & Adaptability - Ensure punctual deliveries through efficient route planning.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delays.
- Flexibly adapt to changing schedules and conditions.
- Flexibly adapt to specific customer requirements, utilizing specialized equipment if needed.
- Assist in warehouse duties, including loading and unloading materials as assigned
Customer Service & Communication - Maintain clear and constant communication with dispatch, ensuring seamless coordination for on-call assignments.
- Provide responsive on-call service for urgent deliveries.
- Provide accurate distribution and placement of building materials as per orders.
- Ensure appropriate paperwork accompanies order, Use of scanning equipment for pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers and address their needs promptly.
Maintenance, Safety, & Compliance - Adhere to regulatory and company safety directives, ensuring site safety during deliveries.
- Handle materials physically and oversee the safe unloading and stocking at job sites.
- Maintain a clean work environment, both within the vehicle and at delivery sites.
- Inspect vehicle regularly to ensure proper functioning of all equipment.
Qualifications An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent credential required.
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Proficient in basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with numbers up to four digits.
- Capable of organizing items systematically by size, alphabetical order, or numerical sequence, and grouping similar items accurately.
- Thorough understanding of traffic regulations, with a commitment to adhering to speed limits and safe driving practices while operating a company vehicle.
- Familiarity with protocols for handling accidents in the warehouse or while operating a company vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety and reporting procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic proficiency in operating standard office equipment (e.g., copiers, fax machines) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Ability to acquire and apply fundamental computer skills, including email communication and inventory management software.
- Fluent in English, with effective reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Physically capable of consistently lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Eligible to obtain certification for safe operation of forklifts and man lifts, adhering to industry standards (must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment).
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, plumbing, or forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum of two years of verifiable driving experience.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record, free of violations or accidents.

- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Environmental Conditions:
- The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
